The user experience inside an airplane has not changed as much over the years compared to the ones for other transportation. This presents an opportunity to revamp the inflight entertainment system, offering passengers a more connected and engaging experience in the sky.

SkyConnect is the Inflight Smart TV that can be integrated into every airline, enhancing the connected experience in the sky.

Provide recommended entertainment options and let users customize their own user profile with avatars.

Enjoy entertainment features with others through the screen-sharing function and join the open group chat room to make a new connection.

Out of 52 people,

49 of them answered using their phone to control the inflight screen could make their experience more comfortable.

42 of them responded if they can share their screen with others to watch movies or listen to music together, they would use it.

34 of them said if they can socialize with new people through inflight open group chat, they would use it.

Onboarding and Homepage
Default Design
Easily navigate and control the inflight entertainment screen by
connecting your device to it.
Users can personalize their profile to appear as they wish and the
the system provides tailored recommendations based on data analysis
of their preferences, such as favorite movie genres and travel habits.
Open Chat Room
Default Design
Users can create a chat room on the airplane to gather fellow
passengers and choose the topic of discussion.
Users can chat with fellow passengers on the airplane to make
new connections or seek information. It's a chance for socializing
and bonding with like-minded individuals.
Movie Section with Screen-Share
Default Design
Users can invite other passengers to share their screens and watch
movies together. The recipient can choose to accept, decline, or opt
out of screen sharing. While watching the movie, users can chat and
share reactions with one another.
Flight Info and Digital Assistant
Default Design
Users can view flight information on a 3D map and explore
their destination city by clicking the "explore" button.
This inflight entertainment offers a digital assistant for users
to request water, snacks, and other items. Additionally, it provides
an alarm service to set reminders for tasks like taking medicine
at specific times.
